It takes a special dog to be a service dog. But , you see not all can be PTSD Service dogs for Veterans. We come back with many fears, learned behaviors and scars. Most dogs can be taught tasks. But, the instinct and awareness, the closeness to their battle buddy is what is demanded of a PTSD SD for a veteran. They need to know you are upset, hyperaware or scared before you even know. This is something that cannot be taught. It is a gift. Some have it, Some dont. Linda said my ZImba was special from the start. I met him at 10 weeks. he was sitting with Linda at a big event. He was calm and alert even at that young age. I just knew... I think Linda did too. He is always with me 24/7. Many tasks I did not even have to teach, he just did them. This Angel is my ROCK. I would not be the person I am today with out him. His calm, protective, caring and intuitive nature is truly a gift. Linda and Steve truly saved my life

Summer has had an impressive career. She is a multi -group winner, multi-breed winner and a Best In Show girl! In addition, Summer was an Award of Merit Winner at the Westminster KC in 2020. In addition, she has a TKN performance title. She is currently finishing up her Grand Championship Silver. Summer is OFA Hips and Elbows. Summer's progeny is now being shown. At 6 months old, her two daughters won Reserves at AKC shows. So proud of this multi- talented girl.
